Has anyone heard of an older singer sewing machine with a round foot pedal that controlled the direction ?
I guess I worded it incorrectly . It was an electric machine with a round foot pedal . … that you moved around with your foot and it somehow moved the direction of thestitch or cloth???
If you truly mean “controlled the direction” and not the speed, then the only old Singer machine I can think of that fits the description was one used for sewing boots and other leather products. On that machine, there was a presser-foot that had a handle you could move to change the direction of the feeding. I should remember the model number, but I guess I’m getting older…I think it might have been a 129K.
